I liked it so much I came back.

It has everything, from free coffee, purchasable breakfast for all dietary requirements, laundry, lockers, two kitchens, and an active social area. It's a massive building with a welcoming historic aesthetic. Because of its size, the rooms are well spaced apart, so you can escape the noise and sleep well. But if you want to party, join their massive pub crawl, which starts on the grounds. It gets wild. There are also infinite toilets and showers; if one is occupied, walk a few more steps to find another one. The working areas were perfect. I can count on one hand how many hostels I've rated 10/10, but this one deserves it. It's up there with the best hostels I've ever stayed in.

Hostal Forestal is conveniently located in Santiago, near the shops and museums of the Bellas Artes district. It offers a 24 hour reception, tour desk and free Wi-Fi internet. The staff members (very helpful), the location of the hostel, other people I met there, the facilities and the breakfast. All was fine, good value for the money.
