Set in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and with Baigorry Church reachable within 11 km, Gite de la Porte Saint Jacques: a hostel for pilgrims offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a terrace. It is a fantastic location on the old main street but still quiet. Beds are comfortable and good bathroom. The host was very welcoming.

Set in Saint-Michel,is located 9 km from saint jean pied de port, the last inn before spain. AUBERGE BORDA features a shared lounge, garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. The Albergue is located approximately 9 km after San Jean Pie du Port in a renewated ex farm and the landscape it's very nice. It's a good point to divide the first stage of Camino de Santiago and start to enter in the spirit of the Camino. It's very clean and well organised. The host it's very kind and the dinner is very good. The dinner take place with all the other pilgrims so it's possible to meet each other and starting to make connections with other pilgrims. I enjoyed my staying a lot , highly recommended!

Spotsleeping is a hostel situated in Anglet, 500 metres from the beach, and has water sports facilities, a garden and a kitchen. Free WiFi is available. The owner was amazing. He gave me a full tour and mentioned everything that was going on in town the evening I stayed there. Thanks to those info I had an amazing evening/night. Everything and everyone was friendly and helpful.

Set in Anglet, Nami House is a traditional basque house which features a barbecue and sun terrace. Guests have access to a shared bathroom. I enjoyed my stay at Nami House. People staying there as well as the staff & the owners were super nice and helpful. Great atmosphere. 15min walk to the beach. 5min to groceries. Breakfast is good. Every room has its own space on the fridge. There’s a ping-pong table, darts, a barbecue... I’ll definitely come back whenever I’m in the area. Thanks for everything !

JOST Auberge de Jeunesse Bordeaux Gare Saint Jean has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bordeaux. Really close to the train station, and the public transport is really convenient, the bus and the tram are easy to get from the stay, the staffs are wonderful, also the bed is amazing! Had a wonderful experience in JOST.

Super atmosphere, bar, food court, work stations, free luggage storage. I didn't realize till I get there but since they also provide private accommodation (dormitory like) for student semesters around, pretty much whole facility designed and maintained based on that. Which means super attentive staff, clean facilities, geeking/studying fellows. Genuinely lovely atmosphere. Bed are comfortable, has curtains and one power and one USB-A socket. Easy check-in and out, highly secured. There are even cupboards with 4-digit keylock which its code is printed on your keycard. All in all deserves its money! Merci!
