The shared bathroom was clean and functioned well. The dining and living areas were well-kept. The basement dining room is really lovely - ancient and rare. Continental breakfast with multiple options. Location was exceptional. Plenty of public street parking and paid parking nearby. We found a free spot to use overnight. If we had needed to pay, it was minimal. I highly recommend this hostel.

Llangollen Hostel Self-catering is a 4-star, Victorian town house in the centre of Llangollen. It has free Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen where guests can prepare their own food, a dining room plus a lounge with log burner, games and books. There are twins, doubles, family rooms, 4-bed quads and a 6-bed room, many of which are en-suite. 2nd time we’ve visited Llangollen and both times we stayed here. Location is great. Facilities are great. Price is even better. Wi-Fi worked well enough to work remotely and there is a shed for those bike touring like us.
