Great location , catered for my gluten free diet. Felt safe
Very nice, cosy room, nice decor, warm, quiet. Great location, lovely staff. Off site car park, but only 2 min walk and cheap overnight £6
Facilities were pristine, breakfast was great and the hosts were so welcoming. As three young women travelling alone, it was the safest we’ve ever felt in a hostel. Definitely exceeded expectations!!
It was a budget friendly hotel.. you got what you paid for as it was cheap
Great location for lots of days out. Secure and safe enough to let the kids and dogs all play outside. Plenty of room for everyone- we had 6 adults and 4 kids and we all sat on the sofa together! Plenty of games left in the property that we enjoyed.
Great location, friendly staff, nice selection of breakfast, cheap and basically you get what you pay for, just!
Clean Had everything we needed. Reminded me of youth hostels back in the days before they were so corporate, when they were as individual and quirky as their wardens. 🙂
Great location, just of the main road, close to all amenities, comfy bunk beds and good water presure in the showers.
Owners were very accommodating and helpful, and flexible with out specific requirements as well. The facilities were impressive, with a large and fully fitted kitchen, well maintained and all toilets and showers were clean and spacious. The setting was incredible also, we only stayed for one night, however will be returning. This hostel would make a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. And the building itself is memorable and unique, truly one of the best hostels you could visit.
As far as hostels go, it’s pretty good. No communal areas other than a very busy bar used by the public. More outdoor seating means less car parking which is tricky during peak times. No bedding etc supplied. But staff friendly, great location and cheap as chips!
