I had no idea that the Botel was actually a former ferry, and thus docked on the sea. It was a pleasant surprise, like finding out you are going to be staying on the Queen Mary in Los Angeles, a stately ocean liner from Titanic days. This is of course much smaller and not as luxurious, but it gives the same fun feel of being on an ocean liner with decks and views over the sea and port holes for windows. It is smack dab in the center of town, moored on the riva main promenade, but I did not hear anything in my room, it was so quiet and peaceful. The bed was big and firm, very comfortable, and I slept very well. The water pressure in the shower was way better than mine at home in Hvar! The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating, and the breakfasts were great, and included in the extremely reasonable price. I really loved everything about this stay. Thank you to the wonderful staff! And also PS, it was extremely hot outside, but the air conditioning in my room was amazing and I was able to adjust it to a temperature that was absolutely ideal for me, so every time I walked in, I was greeted by refreshing, cool air that was just right. So critically important during a heat wave (more and more common all the time).

Lucia, Antonio, and Azra are completely amazing and made the stay at Hostel Vagabundo soooo pleasant.

I had such amazing nights staying here and hanging out with other guests and the employees (not naming names, but you guys know who you are 🥰)I don’t know if I was super lucky or that’s how it is always, but if looking for a place that’s a short walk (or quicker ride by tram), this was amazing. You’re on a great beach, full kitchen and shops close for food, everything is vigilantly cleaned, and it’s truly relaxing. 15/10

Set in Kraljevica, within 2.6 km of Oštro Beach and 2.6 km of Javorišće Beach, Hostel Bordada offers accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private... Spent one night there and it was good enough for a short stay. Very nice owner who gave us great advice on our Croatia itinerary. Thank you

Set within less than 1 km of Klenovica Beach and 50 km of Trsat Castle, Hostel **Casa del Sole** offers rooms in Klenovica. Private parking is available on site. At the hostel, rooms include a... Modern building with clean and up to date amenities. The hosts are the best anyone could ask for. They are incredibly welcoming, very generous and full of stories. They even gave me some pretty remarkable life advice that I haven't heard before so I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to stay with them. Klevonica is a cute little vacation town concentrated with mostly locals, a perfect place to relax if you are constantly moving. Will definitely be returning if I end up having a kid unexpectedly!
