Located in Invercargill, Southern Comfort features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Really cozy hostel, one of the best I've stayed in. Lots of space in dorm rooms, very comfy beds with extra blankets for the cold and everything was very clean. Towels provided were a lovely touch for a hostel. Great atmosphere and cooking space really well thought out. Would recommend to anyone staying in Invercargill.

Oxford Queenette Backpackers offers renovated hotel acommodation right in the Oxford town centre, opposite the Town Hall and behind the Queenette Dairy shop. Clean, bright, well equipped. The people were super friendly and helpful

Set in Marahau, 300 metres from Marahau Beach, Adventure Inn Marahau offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. this is one of my favorite hostels i've ever stayed at! such a unique place to stay with the shipping containers! the beds are comfortable and have outlets nearby which is so nice!! the place was so peaceful and the staff put on a fire every night! the owner, mick, could not have been nicer or more helpful! he helped me organize water taxis and understand the tide times every day when planning my route for the abel tasman coast track. he also helped me organize last minute transportation back the nelson which was a god send. the kitchen and all facilities were so clean and there were so many amenities!

The place was really nice. It was pretty snall so it felt homie and comfortable. The rooms were beatiful and the sleeping beds were comfortable and felt private. Also loved the garden outside.

Just a short walk to the beach, Old Bones Lodge is located in Oamaru. The accommodation offers a spa and wellness centre, library and terrace. Free WiFi access is available. The views from the common room were amazing and the fire place created a comfy atmosphere. My only regret is that we did not stay an extra night. Hope to be back one day!

It is visible in every way that the owners have travelled vastly and know what a traveller needs. There are several rooms available to rest, watch TV, use the library, play music. The kitchen is well equipped and spotless.

All the facilities are very clean and perfect for guests. Love everything about the hostel and would stay here again definitely.
