Situated in Madalena, Jardim das Camélias has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Rooms are equipped with a balcony with a garden view. 5 star hostel! Super clean and everything seems newly decorated, this place was decorated with great care. Lockers in the dorm room (bring a padlock or they offer to give you one), views of the mountain and a great kitchen, lounge and garden. Location was central and 2 mins to the port.

Clean, modern and great location right across from the ferry terminal and right downtown for food and groceries. Luís was very friendly and answered all my travel weary questions with great patience. I like that that Luís was answering the question l was sending him even prior to my arrival. I absolutely recommend this hostel.

Located in Lajes do Pico, Engenho Hostel features free WiFi. All units are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, fridge, a coffee machine, a shower, a hairdryer and a desk. Very nice location, one of the best in Pico, in my opinion. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice view over the ocean :) The house is very clean and equipped with the basics one might need. The communication was very good, at all times there was a phone number available. And the bonus: books! Books everywhere!! Loved this place so much!
