First of all the lady who manages the hostel is an amazing person. She gave me a lot of information and made sure my stay was just perfect. The room had comfy bed and nice terrace on the Monte Brasil. Amazing breakfast. Super good position, in the middle of city center and very close to a public free parking lot.

Great location; very central in Angra, close to the beach and several restaurants. There is also a fun plaza right in front where you can grab a coffee or drink at any time of the day. Easily accessible by taxi or car from the airport (approx. 15 minute drive). The private room was comfortable, spacious, very clean and well equipped. Contrary to other reviews, the room is quite soundproofed. The café downstairs is very convenient and lively. They serve brunch on the week-ends (not included $), which was great as breakfast options are sometimes limited (especially on Sundays when everything is closed).

Facing Bay Hostel er staðsett í Praia da Vitória og Grande-strönd er í nokkurra skrefa fjarlægð. A beautiful spacious room, with a big bed; even the en-suite bathroom was big. The large terrace was ideal for enjoying the views over the bay. Being a hostel, there was even a small shared kitchen we could use on the floor above. Sandra, who looks after the hostel seems lovely. She does everything.

They were very nice and accommodating to all my requests and even took the time to drive me into town to catch a tour next morning so I can sleep in. Highly recommended.

Andre and Ana are so kind and helpful and always ready to chat about everything! You can clearly see that the place is managed by people with passion towards traveling and others. If you really want to see what Angra do Heroismo is about, to literally feel the city, it’s a 100% GO - the enormous balcony with the view of the inner city will provide you that, especially with finest azorian wine and after the dark.

ZIGZAG HOSTEL er staðsett í Praia da Vitória og Grande-strönd er í innan við 400 metra fjarlægð. Excellent place to stay with fabulous staff. Since I was travelling off-season, I got bumped up to a double room, instead of the dorm which was a great and unexpected bonus. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Super comfortable bed as well. The staff was also very helpful and kind, I got plenty of recommendations including restaurants, things to do, and transport around the island. Definitely recommend.

The most thing I liked that I was alone in the whole dorm room, so being an introvert it was super for me. On top of that the whole hostel is super modern with well done interior. Breakfast was very cozy.
