Great location; very central in Angra, close to the beach and several restaurants. There is also a fun plaza right in front where you can grab a coffee or drink at any time of the day. Easily accessible by taxi or car from the airport (approx. 15 minute drive). The private room was comfortable, spacious, very clean and well equipped. Contrary to other reviews, the room is quite soundproofed. The café downstairs is very convenient and lively. They serve brunch on the week-ends (not included $), which was great as breakfast options are sometimes limited (especially on Sundays when everything is closed).

A beautiful spacious room, with a big bed; even the en-suite bathroom was big. The large terrace was ideal for enjoying the views over the bay. Being a hostel, there was even a small shared kitchen we could use on the floor above. Sandra, who looks after the hostel seems lovely. She does everything.

If you really want to see what Angra do Heroismo is about, to literally feel the city, it’s a 100% GO - the enormous balcony with the view of the inner city will provide you that, especially with finest azorian wine and after the dark.
