Just a stones throw from Brisbane Airport and a short walk to train station giving you easy access to the Brisbane CBD. Explore Nundah Village and its trendy cafes and restaurants. This cozy original Queenslander cottage might be small in size but big on charm with all the modern day conveniences including a complete kitchen for preparing meals. Period features include original fretwork, timber floors and high ceilings seamlessly blending the past with the present.
We live in Brisbane and love to work and travel. We own hair salons, export, distribute and manufacture our own Australian brand of hair products called SOPHIC. When travelling we love to see old buildings that have been beautifully restored, visit local markets and experience the surrounding culture. Married with two adult children, three granddaughters and one grandson, we spent our 25th wedding anniversary at Everest Base Camp. There is self check in and as we live only a very short walk away we can help with any other needs you might have.
Explore the vibrant Nundah Village with its boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants. The village atmosphere is perfect for leisurely strolls and discovering hidden gems. For outdoor enthusiasts, Kedron Brook Bikeway offers a picturesque route for cycling, jogging, or a peaceful riverside walk. Families will enjoy the numerous parks and playgrounds scattered throughout the suburb, providing ideal spots for picnics and recreation. One of Nundah's standout features is its excellent transportation connectivity. The Nundah Train Station (3min walk) provides quick access to Brisbane's CBD, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers. The Brisbane Airport is also conveniently close (10min car), ensuring stress-free arrivals and departures. There is easy street parking on Vernon Street directly outside the cottage.
