We felt so at home at The Manor House during our short stay and it was the perfect accommodation for our trip in Castle Acre. Emma was so attentive and catered for all of our needs. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were very spacious and comfortable and the views were to die for! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! We would have no hesitation in recommending this superb bed and breakfast to others.

Toast, fruit, yogurt were always on offer followed by a full english breakfast with a choice of how you like your eggs. The Manor is set in a beautiful rural location which is perfect if you want peace and quiet. Emma the Hostess was friendly, not too instrusive and had a wealth of local knowledge at her fingertips. The bed was so comfortable (didn't want to get out of it lol). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

The breakfast was excellent! Cereals, fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, a full English, toast, a pot of peppermint tea for my wife and a pot of Yorkshire tea for me! What more could we want! The location was (for us) fantastic. The view through the window from our breakfast table was of a beautiful meadow complete with horses and pheasants. As we are both nature lovers it was the perfect start to the day. The bedroom was comfortable, the shower excellent and easy to use. Our host, Emma, was lovely. She couldn’t have been more helpful and made us feel very welcome in her home.

The warmest of welcomes after our long 5.5hr journey. Emma helped us with our bags and welcomed us to her home with open arms. Our room was gorgeous. Spotlessly clean, stunning views from all windows. Emma then booked a table for us at a local pub so we didnt have to worry about finding somewhere to eat(food was incredible!!) breakfast was lovely and although we were skeptical about sitting with other guests staying, they were lovely and so glad to meet them, learnt so much about the world just over brekky haha. It wasnt awkward. We loved our stay here and only wish we lived closer so we can bring all of our family here. Although im sure we will find an excuse to visit again just so we can stay here. Emma is fantastic at what she does and you really feel like part of the family during your stay. Upon leaving we were so emotional saying goodbye. Highly recommend!!

Emma was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed sitting around the large breakfast table watching the horses and enjoying a delicious cooked breakfast and chatting to the other guests. There is a wide selection of maps and books. The house is a homely, traditional family home with dogs and horses. It is in a beautiful setting up a long drive (make sure you put the Manor B&B as well as the postcode otherwise you end up in the wrong place). Also delicious water which comes from a Spring. The village is lovely with a ruined castle, beautiful Priory, nice walks and a great cafe. We also went to the open air Theatre (which is under cover) at West Acre to see a Shakespeare play.

Breakfast was generous, using local produce and very tasty. The well appointed house is in a rural very quiet location close to Castle Acre, which is a lovely attractive village, and made an excellent base to explore this part of Norfolk. Emma was very helpful with advice about local facilities and places to eat. All in all , a most enjoyable break.
