It would be very difficult to find a more accommodating host. The property is spotless, comfortable and in an excellent position for West Ireland Airport and extremely reasonably priced. Caroline went above and beyond preparing a lovely breakfast even though we had an early flight. We were contacted before our stay to see if we had any allergies or special requests which we considered a thoughtful gesture. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pat's Place.

Pat's Place - room in my home with two single beds. Own key for your room and to enter and leave property. A private bathroom for guests; your use only. Not ensuite. A kettle for tea, coffee, fridge is provided. Bathrobes are also provided. You will have your own dining room. Breakfast is always included in our price. A famine dwelling & spring well on laneway Recently I have installed solar panels on the bungalow...try to reduce my carbon foot print. We have used our green space to encourage biodiversity divided it into 3 private gardens and a meadow, one part of the meadow we have left it be it's own, it's very beautiful. Many species of flowers and berries which I thought were lost have come back. Own compost is used on vegetables, the weeds that grow after the rain have flowers. daisys. buttercup, wild garlic, lavender, bees are kept busy. Trees are set, respectful to others sown. Seating areas welcome to discover our gardens and just COME and we have a big emphasis on relaxing and pampering our guests. Get away from the rat race.....of big city life We are situated in the idyllic countryside. A car is needed and can be rented at airport. Wifi is available at Pat's place.
Pat and Nathan will host you here at Pat & Nathan place. Pat loves meeting new people and is very knowledgeable about the area is a very keen gardener. Pat's wife Caroline interested in geneology & the famine period. If guests need anything we are never not available

One is how close we are to Knock airport, Knock Marian shrine and Kilkelly/Kilmovee- Duffys pub Bobby Ewing fame Ballaghaderreen-Lakes & legends festival Ballagh Farm Shop award winning August 1rst is the Urlar Patten trad Irish music, at Urlar lake beside monastic ruin, Urlar Abbey. Kilkelly boasts a one day festival in the town where you can shop at a stall with handcrafted cards for all occasions & handknits for children & adults, potato picking competition, tug o' war, face painting music and Irish dancing. Great fun is to be had. Monthly 1rst Sun monthly 11am until 2pm Kilkelly hosts an ever popular Cars and coffee, a morning where vintage cars line the streets. Motorcar lovers come from all over. Blessed to have this activity on our doorstep. Your accommodation is a 15 mins car journey to Swinford. This town hosts ever popular SIAMSA very popular for tourists where there is trad music, sean-nos dancing & live bands in the street and the ''Blathanna na Feile''- festival of the roses. These are all at local level the person chosen at this event if successful will represent Mayo, internationally Rose of Tralee which is aired live on Irish TV,
