I provide high visibility waist coat as our guests are vip & I cannot state this strongly enough, my traffic is usually tractors and heavy duty silage equipment down our lane in the summer and fall months. Together with my son Nate and husband Pat we are always happy to help, I am very interested in geneology, and love to hear of people connecting with their Irish heritage, culture and relatives & ancestory. I am an avid knitter and can usually be found in the kitchen creating baby blankets, jumpers & bootees, for gifts and cards from pre-bought cards etc.I am very concerned about envoirnment,, I reuse everything if I can and recycle what I can't.

Urlaur abbey, lake are close by. Kilkelly village has all local amenities. A church and traditional Irish pubs, ( Shazzymacs is a great Irish owned pub with beer garden,) two supermarkets, cafe, post office & chemist and a vintage clothes shop, where you are sure to bag a bargain. Swinford is a nearby town, must have car to get there. Siamsa cois straide is a yearly 4 day festival and boasts heritage day. Kilkelly also holds a heritage day, with ganes and live music in the street, tug o' war, potato picking - a great family day out. The last Sunday of the month yr round in Kilkelly there is a free event on Sunday morning. Cars and coffee it is called . In Kilkelly there are many classic car enthusiasts and together with there contacts all meet up monthly at 11am to see & show off their wonderful cars. The streets are lined with the most wonderful cars, vans that are from by gone days. It is a wonderful addition to Kilkelly and it is free or price of and cup of coffee.
