Very Nice room (I recommend not to have a room with lake view because it’s quite noisy). Very large room, comfortable bed, clean and light! The owner is very nice and helpful

I spent an amazing time in Lakeside hotel. The room and bathroom were really clean and comfortable. Great quality price option! I would have loved to spend more time in Khajuraho also to enjoy the beautiful terrace of the hotel. Prashant, the owner, is a very nice person too.

Prashant was very helpful from day one. One of the best location, exactly opposite the lake, we went in the month of March end, but still the climate was cool. very information and helpful, whatever guidance you need or even if you want a Rickshaw he is always there to help you. I also hired a scooty with help of Prashant, so altogether I will highly recommend Hotel Lakeside. Wish to travel once again in the month of August for the Raneh waterfall, Also walkable distance to the western Khajuraho temple.. thank you Prashant.

The location is excellent. It's right next to the ticket office and right in front of the pond. Many of the other hotels claim to be close to the city center, but that's not really the case. The father and son who own the hotel are fluent in both Japanese and English, and are very accommodating. The building and interior are clean and luxurious. Highly recommended.

Bagno altrettanto pulito con buona pressione e acqua calda 24h. Gestore e personale disponibili e premurosi. Cucina comune a disposizione degli ospiti.

Direkt im Herzen Khajurahos bietet das Hotel einen super Ausgleich zum sonst oft wuseligen Indien. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Bett gemütlich und ein guttuender Rückzugsort. Mit einem schönen Garten und einer großen Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den See und die Tempel Khajurahos, konnte ich mal wieder sehr gut entspannen. Prashant und sein Vater sind super offene und hilfsbereite Hotelbesitzer, die, wenn du willst, dir einiges über Indiens Kultur und Gesellschaft erzählen können :) Die beeindruckenden Tempel, Restaurans und die Marktstrsße sind um die Ecke. Insgesamt hat es mir super gut gefallen! Wenn ich wieder in Madhia Pradesh bin, werde ich auf jeden Fall zurückkommen!

Top-Lage, die Tempel sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und vom Dach aus hat man einen super Ausblick auf den See (&Sonnenuntergänge!). Die Räume sind gemütlich und sauber und die Familie, die das Hotel betreibt ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kamen mitten in der Nacht an und haben uns trotzdem direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Khajuraho war sehr entspannt und das Hotel passt dazu, beim nächsten mal würde ich länger bleiben!

Ich war bereits vor 6 Jahren im Hotel Lakeside, und hatte mich sehr gefreut, Prashant wieder zu treffen. Es macht einfach Freude, sich mit ihm zu unterhalten, und an seinem breiten Wissen Teil zu haben. Es war schön, wie er uns mit Frühstück, und mit dem, was wir sonst noch so brauchten, versorgte. Nicht nur zu ihm, sondern auch zu seinem Vater entstand ein sehr persönliches Verhältnis.

Wer das echte Indien mag wird sich hier sehr wohl fühlen. Die Zimmer mit Blick auf den Lake und die Tempelanlage sind groß und sauber und der Ausblick wirklich sehr schön. Hervorzuheben ist die Gastfreundschaft, die Hotelbesitzer Prashant und sein Vater sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wer sich für Yoga interessiert hat in Prashant den richtigen Ansprechpartner. Prashant hat in Indien Yoga studiert und brennt förmlich wenn er davon erzählt. Fazit: Wer möchte kann hier einfach nur wohnen oder aber sich von dem Spirit Khajuraho‘s einfangen lassen. 🙏
