The kav-kaivo house: We've designed a simple place to stay: a quiet place to rest, clean, private and secure. A place where you can put all your luggage, where there's no traffic jam and where it's easy to get around. Welcome home! ". Its charm: - The kav-kaivo house has a spirit, it's independent and fenced. - It's spacious, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one of which is in the private master bedroom). - Convenient for everyone: alone or as a couple, a group or even a family. You'll always be the only residents of the kav-kaivo house, it'll be your home. Favorite features: Every essential piece of equipment is here to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible: - zero water problems, with two cisterns always full of water (a very important criteria in Comoros), - two fixed air-conditioning units, one in the master bedroom and the other in the living room (very useful in hot weather). - your own automatic washing machine. - your own free Wi-Fi connection :). Important information: It is important to note that the tap water is not considered potable in the country, with the exception of some areas on the island of Moheli. Comorian residents generally obtain water supplied by private companies, such as surface water (river water, for example), which is untreated and is therefore very clean but not potable. The water we store in our cisterns is also clean but not potable, which is the general case in the country. However, it's very easy to find bottled mineral water in most food stores in the Comoros :) .

We are the young team behind Kav-Kaivo and we fell in love with an old abandoned house in the capital. After a few modern and simple touches, we offer you a townhouse in the tropics of the Comoros to make your stay memorable. A local person, your host, located not far from the house, will always be available and reachable for you ;-). The islands of the Indian Ocean are beautiful but not well known. We'd like to make it easier for you not only to discover our Comoros Islands, but also to come here, by offering you our house as your private home. Away from traffic jams in a quiet neighborhood: - The kav-kaivo house is located in the heart of the capital and also borders on the historic town of Itsandra Mdjini where its beautiful emblematic beach is waiting for you (see photos available in the ad) and where many activities can be found: diving, kayaking, jet skiing, seeing dolphins at 6 a.m. etc... only a 10/15 min walk away. - The neighborhood is very quiet, secure (just a few steps from the presidential residence) and very close to shops. - The locals are atypically cheerful and very calm too. - The Volo-volo market is a 5-minute cab ride away. - Cabs are available to take you anywhere on the island. - The Sawaprix supermarket is just a few steps from the house. - A mobile operator (Telma) is also a stone's throw from the house: ideal for picking up a SIM card and staying connected away from home. - Restaurants/bakeries/coffee shops can be found around the "Salimamoud" roundedabout, 4/5 min away by car. - And did we mention that the volo volo market is the very heart of Moroni ?
