Hello there, I'm your host, Steven. My passion is the process of co-creation, a process I've been exploring and engaging with for the last decade. If you would like to create your own unique light or decoration, it will be my pleasure to guide you through the process. Over the years, I've established a fine selection of craftsmen, and all of us are at your service.

Al Ibtikar means creation. All the lights and decorations are in-house designed and co-created with a fine selection of artisans of Marrakesh. Uniquely hand-made, they serve as inspiration for the process of co-creation. All decorations are also for sale, alongside other unique creations in the Scent&Sense boutique. Besides the vast offer of touristic attractions in and around the medina of Marrakesh, Riad Al Ibtikar offers the possibility to co-create your own light or piece of decoration.

Riad Al Ibtikar is located in the heart of the medina of Marrakesh, 350 meters from the famous square, Jemaa El Fna. All the different rooftop restaurants and bars are within walking distance from the Riad, as well the different visitor attractions (Marrakesh Museum, Palaces, Souks, ...). The Koutoubia is a 7 min. walk and with a little taxi, you're at the airport in 10 min.
