The mountains surrounding the house gives a lot of possibilities for top tours and randonè skiing as well as a lot of hiking routes in the summertime. Right behind the house you can walk up to popular Storhaugen, experience the fabulous sight from top and ski right down to the sea. Five minutes north along the road a short trip with a free ferry brings you over to Havnnes, Norway`s northernmost preserved trading place still in operation.
