Maybe the best breakfast we ever had in a guesthouse (the breakfast alone could be your reason to stay here!). The hosts of the hotel are the kindest and most helpful people. Aziz speaks exceptionally well french and helps with everything. While hiking in Tajikistan we were able to leave our bags at the hotel and he even accompanied us to the bus station where he organized us our ride. Thank you again!

The house is 150 years old building decorated in traditional uzbek style. It is full of antique items and our favorite place was to sit next to the 250 years old tree, which is located in the middle of the hotel, and drink green tea. We also enjoyed traditional uzbek breakfast every morning. The location was also ideal walking distance from Registan and other sightseeing areas.

Aziz and Haim are very attentive to the needs of their guests. Aziz is very welcoming . he is happy to help with logistics in Samarkand . the breakfast is different every morning and very tasteful . we all loved being there . we will certainly come back .

Aziz and his family are so welcoming. They make you feel so at home. You get to experience real Uzbek hospitality at this small, friendly hotel. The breakfasts were great. The atmosphere in their central courtyard is so authenic. The hotel is walking distance to both the main bazaar and the amazing Registon. Aziz was so kind in helping me sort out a problem with my luggage. I can't thank him enough. Would recommend for a real experience of Uzbek hospitality in the old town.

I liked that they had a hair dryer, a good one in fact. Breakfast was a spread and they prepare the eggs fresh. We had one egg too salty and told them and they immediately cooked us another one. We arrived early but they allowed us to keep our bags. When we needed water late at night, someone delivered within 10 minutes. There is a community dog who is super adorable and friendly. The room is good for sleeping and hot water was quick to come. Location is great, >10 mins walk to Registan Square and we urge you to go before 8am, the guards will still let you in and you will get photos without anyone in them. The guards will try to upsell you but it's not much more anyway.
