One of the standout features was their thoughtful gesture of serving tea and fresh cut fruits whenever we sat outside, adding a delightful touch to our stay. The location was amazing. Near the Registan and the center of Samarkand. The staff was so nice and welcoming. They made sure everything was correct. The mood of the hotel is just unique; met nice people from all over the world and had great talks in the terrace of the hotel with a view over the garden and the birds. The breakfast was so various, rich and consistent. There was a problem with the lock of our door. The staff repaired it as soon as we reported the issue.

The staff was AMAZING! Though their English is limited, they made every attempt to communicate with us and meet our needs. My husband made friends with the young man that works there and one of the children that we saw around at times. Anytime we went to do work on the veranda they brought us a pot of fresh tea and fruit - and one day I was up there three times! Breakfast was also solid for a guest house atmosphere - always fruit, local bread, meat, cheese, butter, local yogurt drink, Nescafé, tea..and either eggs with potato or wheat porridge.
