I spent a few days at Shell Sea B&B and it was lovely. Prior to my stay, Manfred & Kenya booked a taxi to pick me up at the airport and Manfred came then to pick me up by boat for the last leg of the journey. This B&B is on the small island of Santa Catalina linked to the main island via a bridge - it's around 15 minutes walking but it felt very safe even at night. Manfred can help you rent a scooter/golf cart and can take you around the island on his private boat, or arrange for you to join a snorkelling tour with other people. I did that and I really enjoyed it. My little apartment was spotless, good AC and a little fridge to keep my drinks cool. You can walk to the beach nearby but it's a steep flight of stairs. Everything felt very safe and cosy, and I had a wonderful stay!

A place where we didn’t want to leave. First of all Gino was the most attentive and considerate host ever. He organized us a scooter and gave valuable information about the island among other things. The apartment was super tidy and was cleaned every day. Kitchen is good size and well equipped. We spend there six nights but wish we had more!

The location is very good, near the center and not far from the main beaches and place with restaurants and supermarkets. Jazmína was very friendly, she gave us lemonade when we arrived, helped with advised. Room was very clean with air conditioner, with hot water and fridge. We also had terrace for having breakfast.
