What a great place to stay! A room just above the pub, with a lot of space for 3 people and a modern bathroom. The pub is huge but because it is separated into little areas it is still cosy. We spent hours in there due to the bad weather. And besides all they have good food as well.

Can leave dog alone in room to go out and they'll xall if concerned dog in distress. They called after we'd been out few hours. Very polite and went into room at our request to check whilst we got vack yo hotel. Only 15 mins away. Really appreciated this. We never leave our dog in hotel rooms while we go out, but this was a special family dinner, so we're happy we could leave him for a bit and that the staff were so caring and supportive. The location was perfect for the Utilita arena. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice - I’m a coeliac. Lovely gluten free seeded bread for toast. We also had dinner in the hotel which was very nice - again, there was GF choices.

The hotel is a 6 minute walk right behind the train station. The rooms were very clean an comfortable. Dinner and breakfast both very good. The spa facilities are open early till late so if you want to relax just after breakfast or before bed they are open and staff are also helpful and friendly.
