The place itself was oozing zen and I loved its architecture. Very welcoming to travellers looking for some peace and comfort after a full day of sightseeing. Room was perfect as well. Everything I want from a room was included. Very comfortable bed, would definitely come here again. The place is located in the northern suburbs of Salta. Restaurants are nearby.

Marina and Juan are such lovely hosts. We arrived by bus and were dropped off on the highway. Juan picked us up. Also with organising a shuttle or bus Marina was super helpful. The communication throughout our stay and before arrival was perfect. Thanks for the lovely memories.

Set in a Colonial house, El Zaguan offers accommodation in Cafayate's main street, 20 metres from the Main Square. The property features a patio, surrounded by the comfortable rooms. WiFi is free in common areas. Cafayate vineyards are 900 metres away. Great value! On the Main Street but quiet inside. Nice patio. Rooms had nice features like a fan, table and chairs, wardrobe and drinking water. Simple Argentine breakfast provided in lovely common space.

We ate breakfast outside in the garden which included gorgeous homemade breads with jam and coffee. I would happily stay again.
