Situated in El Calafate and with Argentinean Lake reachable within 11 km, Hostería La Soberana features a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a restaurant. Suzanna is a very kind and helpful person, the facilities are AMAZING (wooden details, great design, outstanding views of the lake), everything is super clean and everything is new or pretty well maintained. It was probably our best stay in a 2-week trip :)

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, the Hotel y Cabañas Las Marías is situated in El Calafate, 3 km from Argentinean Lake. The rooms have a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The host Lucas was very kind and accommodating, giving great recommendations on everything. Great service. The rooms were clean and cozy, with a great heater for the cold nights. The breakfast was basic, but it did the trick. It‘s important to remember that Argentinians don‘t eat big breakfasts! It included fruit, some cereals and yogurt, and of course, media lunas. The location was also great - in a quiet part of town, but it was easy to walk just 10 minutes to find many restaurants and bars. We walked to town many times at night with no issues and also went to hang out some days at the more social hostel around the corner.

Located next to El Chalten’s trekking circuits and walking distance from the main road and the city centre, Hosteria El Puma offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Great dinner, great packed lunch options. Very nice, clean and warm room.

Only 100 metres from the Argentino Lake waterfront, Posada Karut Josh offers rooms with free Wi-Fi in El Calafate. Breakfast is provided, and a garden is featured. The hotel is run by a very nice family, who were very warm and welcoming. The hotel was in a great spot in the city, close to everything, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was really good! All of the above for a surprisingly low cost!

Great family owned place, very clean and well managed. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. We've stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Perito Moreno / El Chalten and on a way back.

Great hotel, staff amazing, good breakfast and packed lunch for trekking. Really nice cafe area. Will be back !
