The beautiful grounds give way to total nature in steps. It was quiet and comfortable, a true getaway from it all but easy to reach town in minutes by boat. The walk to Abraao is worth doing once, but make use of the convenient boat to reach the more impressive hiking paths on the island. We enjoyed listening to the frogs and birds—watch out for hummingbirds and bright blue butterflies. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic.

Super helpful and friendly staff - even helped me with info how to get to and from the island. I don't speak Portugese and the staff made an effort to use translater to communicate in English before arrival. Would definitely recommend!

One is "Casa da Praia" a charming main house with three rooms on the edge of the sea and another "Casa da Floresta" with four private rooms in the forest. The trilha (5 minutes walk up to the forest house) offers panoramic views where the full landscape can be appreciated. Wonderful place, wonderful team (Tabata, Rafael, Julia and the others were great, very helpful and nice), Pablo is the nicest owner you will ever meet, and the food is fabulous. The whole place is very kids friendly as well.
