Great place to visit for a day.
Great place to visit for a day. You don’t need more than 4 hours to see the park. Get there early. The park opens at 8am. Take the city bus, buy your ticket there, bring water & bug spray. Take the train and see the Upper and Lower waterfalls and then head back to the city or airport from the National park.
It’s super HOT so get the early to walk around.

The Garganta Del Diablo is under repair due to the flood...
The Garganta Del Diablo is under repair due to the flood destruction, and it may take up to 6 months or even longer. The Gran Aventura or the Macuco Safari is a must-do when you are here in the Iguazu park. The Salto Santa Maria in Brazil Iguazu is a place you would never want to miss. You can almost walk into the falls. So make sure you are ready to get wet before walking onto the bridge.

Awful because I didn't get to see the falls.
Awful because I didn't get to see the falls. Authorities closed them for two days due to weather, but weather fine in town. No real explanation. Many people well miffed after getting there and queueing up for over an hour to be told falls closed. Did see Brazil side and that was great.

This was the MOST unbelievable waterfall I have ever seen and ever will see in my lifetime. The walking decks around the falls are perfect and help us see the true power of nature in this water. Just AMAZING!!!

Highly recommend to ask a staff member where you can possibly swim and go under a mini waterfalls. My friend and I went to an "mini" falls and it was probably the highlight of our trip to the Iguazu Falls. The water is brick skin pricking cold, but it was definitely an exhilarating experience!

Arrive when the park opens in the morning.
Arrive when the park opens in the morning. On the Argentinian side go straight to the Gargantua (by footpath not train) when the park opens to get the waterfall to yourself for 20 minutes before the train and hoards of people arrive.

The perfect hideaway when visiting Iguazu Falls. An easy walk to all bars and restaurants but far enough away to be a quiet, secluded, relaxing hotel with a refreshing pool.
Very clean, comfortable apartment a few blocks from the town center. Short walk to where rivers meet and you can see Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina. In the pick-up zone for both Argentina and Brazil Iguazu Falls tours. Also, the bus stop to airport was right across the street. Eduardo, the owner, was awesome. Communication was great and he was extremely helpful and accommodating.
Booked for a one night budget stay on the Argentina side of Iguazu falls. The hotel worked for what we needed. Many of the guests seemed to be staying at the hotel for the pool – which was nice. Quite a few families. The employees at the reception were helpful and pleasant. The room was clean. The air conditioning worked great.
The owner speaks English. He is very nice and helpful. He helped arrange transportation to the airport and Brazil side Iguazu Falls. The hostel is close to bus terminal and many restaurants. Air condition works very well.
Loved the location of this hotel, right by the main freeway that goes into Puerto Iguazú and also to the Brazil border. We were perfectly centrally located for our Iguazú Falls tour excursions. The staff were extremely helpful. Loved the rooms and balcony views too!
Nice hotel! Very nice pool good for relaxing at after going to Iguazu Falls. The hotel is located outside of town in the jungle, it’s a beautiful setting but know that it is not walkable. We knew this from previous reviews and it was not an issue for us as we really enjoyed the restaurant and the bar. The day that we did venture out to dinner the hotel helped us find a cab there and back. Service at the bar and restaurant runs at a relaxed pace, if you are looking for a quick bite to eat you may want to consider a different option.
We liked the location of the hotel. The breakfast was very good. The environment of the hotel is very nice. The bus terminal is closed to the hotel, so it was convenient to take the bus to Iguazu falls for people.
We were in Puerto Iguazu for just one night, and this hotel certainly met our expectations. There was an exceptionally clean pool, which we were not able to use during our short stay, but it looked inviting. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was most helpful, ordering cars and recommending activities. The property is secure and a short taxi ride to the town center and Iguazu Falls.
Location location location would highly recommend this as the best value for Iguazu falls, no not cheap but...used hotel guide for Brazil side, and all transfers, excellent
it’s a really good place to stay during your trip to iguazu! it’s super easy to get to the iguazu falls (both sides, Argentina and Brazil) from the hostel and in the afternoon you can relax in the hostel and enjoy the swimming pool. it’s super clean, a perfect equipped kitchen and the owners are super friendly and helpful
