A wonderful experience and a very special birthday treat. We enjoyed the most excellent food and service here and were in time to see the fireworks from the observation deck at 10pm which were memorable and such a feature

I loved the skylon tower.
I loved the skylon tower. Take a camera amazing view and you will want to take some pics. Buy the day/night pass I believe day pass only is $19 and the day/night pass is $24. We made the mistake of only buying the day pass and lost the chance to go back up to view nighttime fire works over the falls.

Views of the Falls at night are spectacular.
Views of the Falls at night are spectacular. Dining is expensive but food is very good and they do not skimp on the portions. Our group had the rack of lamb, seafood medley and the prime rib, all served with potato and selection of vegetables. Apple pie a-la-mode and Pecan crusted cheese cake to finish, both portions fed two.

The observation deck was great.
The observation deck was great. We dined at the Skylon Summit Suite Buffet and wished we had gone to the Revolving Dining Room instead. The concierge service for the buffet restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. You check in and have to cram up and wait in the small lobby area to be seated. Otherwise, the food was OK and the wait staff very attentive.

The people are very friendly and helpful. The view from the rooms facing the American Falls is the best in Niagara and is close to that of the Skylon Tower. Every night there is a fireworks show around 10 PM and this hotel has one of the best views. Would definitely recommend it again.

Me and my girlfriend made a weekend out of it staying at a cheaper motel on the saturday night and staying at the Sheraton on Sunday night. We ate at the skylon tower and although the food was pricy it was delicious and the servers were informative and helpful. If you don't mind spending some cash on a good meal go too Ruth Chris Steakhouse, beef to die for.
