The location was the best thing about the place being close to the hiking trails around the lake. Our room faced the lake so we had fantastic views across the water to the mountains.

Derwentwater
This beautiful trail takes in the quiet awesomeness of Derwentwater, the "Queen of the Lakes." Ten miles of well-marked paths loop around its still shores, taking you past age-old forests and rugged fells. For picture-perfect views, head to Friar's Crag and look out over the lake towards the bumpy Cat Bells ridge.

We had a bit of trouble finding the exact location, and the owner very kindly came out, sent us in the right direction and opened the keysafe for us 😁 Would absolutely stay there again, and l would recommend it to friends and family. The property is in walking distance of lovely parks, gardens, shops and a ten minute walk to Derwentwater. Amazing countryside, well planned walks and activities for all ages and abilities. Very dog friendly. Just perfect, we fell in love with the Lake District 😍
The minute we walked in, we loved Fellpack House and knew we’d made a good choice of where to stay. It has been newly renovated and is beautiful and cozy. The staff were friendly and inviting. It is close to town and Derwentwater, so a perfect location.
Going with family I wanted a discount self catering option in or close to Keswick and the Derwentwater Hotel did not disappoint. Literally 2 miles from the center. 2 Bed apartment was more than spacious for 4 people with everything we needed for our short stay. And the location was spot on with beautiful grounds to walk around too. Staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough. Prices were reasonable in the restaurant and bar where we spent the evening relaxing.
The hotel and grounds were far more picturesque than we anticipated and it is perfectly situated in Keswick with an easy walk into town and to the start of most walks and Derwentwater. Our room was lovely and although not modern and up to date perfectly reflected the building and its surroundings and everything worked and was clean.
The restaurant for breakfast was great and there was more than enough options with a lovely view across the lawn.
The view was incredible being located overlooking derwentwater.
Staff were polite and friendly.
The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a lovely touch.
Free Parking.
Good selection at breakfast.
Tasteful decor in the room.
Lovely hotel with beautiful views over Derwentwater and Catbells. Friendly, helpful staff and very attentive. Clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. Quiet location and only a few minutes walk into the town and down to the Launch on Derwentwater. Breakfast was lovely and I thought the dining room was professionally set out with the placement of the tables, so that you are not overlooked by other guests. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again. It's a 10/10 from me.
Cute little room with tea and coffee facilities, fresh milk every day. Tony and Pearl were very friendly, welcoming hosts, brilliant choice for breakfast which tasted great. Very quiet and had a fab nights sleep. Great location, 2 mins walk from the shops and pubs and 10 minute walk from the stunning Derwentwater Lake. Would definitely come back.
