Beautiful hotel with some serious attention to detail on the amenities. The bed was soft, penhaligon bathroom items, coffee press in the room and the tub is a great way to relax.
Unfortunately we had a bit of a crisis after dining in the restaurant (not related) 06/10/24 and the staff acted very professionally and compassionately. Intentionally vague for consideration of my partner.
Please pass on our appreciation for the kindness shown to the staff.

Did 2 trips with Serenity boats. 1st around Inner Farne Islands then on to Lindisfarne. Great day out, wrap up warm, mist came over so a bit cold but saw lots of birds including Puffins, seals and dolphins on way back. Loved this trip so then went on trip to land on Inner Farne Islands, awesome, got so close to Puffins, got lots of photos.

A small harbour village so not a lot there but was lovely. Lots of boat trips out to the farne islands, which we didn't do on this occasion, but would should we return. Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne island visible from the harbour and would definitely recommend a visit to these.

With plans to visit the Farne Islands, finding housing close to the boat tour operations was a priority. From the cleanliness of the room to the hospitality of the staff, The Olde Ship Inn was a great find!
This is a wonderful B&B in a beautiful location convenient to Bamburgh Castle, the Farne Islands, and Holy Island. Terrific views of the harbor and the sea beyond. Extremely comfy bed. Excellent breakfast with great choice. Friendly, welcoming staff. I wish we could have stayed longer!
Very relaxing with excellent views from the lounge and dining area, looking across to the Farne Islands. Staff very friendly and the rooms are very clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
Perfect house with a large terrace plus lawned garden. There was a peaceful air about it, with a touch of luxury too. It was handy for the great Seahouses shops including an amazing pie/pasty/quiche shop. Walking along the nearby beaches was glorious; the short sea journey to the Farne Islands was magical, the local people were welcoming and the weather behaved itself! We've booked for next year, hurray!
Excellent location, just a short walk to local pubs, restaurants, shops the harbour. Ideally placed for day trips to Bamburgh, Holy island, Farne islands etc. Spacious and clean property.
