Check in was detailed and easy for contactless check in

The hotel is 300 metres from the terminal building at Newcastle Airport and a 15-minute Metro ride from Newcastle city centre. It has free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and a cocktail bar.

Close to airport. Good value with parking included.

Great little retro place very 80s but in a good way.

Royal Hotel is a convenient and friendly base just off the A1, between the Newcastle/Gateshead Quayside and the Metro Centre. The property offers free parking and free Wi-Fi in public areas.

Very clean staff were polite was food for the money.
