It's also very conveniently located in the middle of Asakusa that I was able to go to Donki at 4am to shop (with no other customer inside) and go back home to a 10minute walk. The markets around Asakusa are really interesting as you can buy lots of typically Japanese things such as rice cakes, fans, yukata, parasols,etc
The markets around Asakusa are really interesting as you can buy lots of typically Japanese things such as rice cakes, fans, yukata, parasols,etc. Some of the shops are a bit touristy but you can find nice things at a reasonable price. I was really interested in the Japanese textiles and found a great museum of local crafts near one of the entrances to Senso-ji (the main temple).
