Room was clean, comfortable bed/linens and great aircon and fan for cooling options. Food was good, portions were huge and lots of veggies and fruit for lunch/dinner. Our boat guide Irfan was amazing at spotting animals and we were lucky to see the Borneo Big 5. The ladies running the lodge are all so lovely, highly recommend their hospitality. Bring lots of bug spray for the mozzies and don’t expect WiFi in your chalet - it’s the jungle!

Staff were very accommodating and attentive. Must do as many river cruises are possible - we saw the most during the day. 5 minute walk to the river from the lodge. Typical regional construction style, warm-hearted local staff and a lot of nature around. Other lodges down the river may be more luxurious, but for us it was a great start of our nature/wildlife roundtrip on Borneo. Tours organized by the lodge were interesting and could be arranged in a pleasantly flexible and spontaneous way. We´d like to say thank you to the young and kind lodge team, who made us feel as welcome as we could be!

The resturant serves very good food, the service was just lovely. It was one of the my favorite lodges I have travelled to. The location is amazing- 3 min walk to the Orangutan And Sun bear centers, 15 min walk to the Rainforest Discovery center. I wished I have stayed longer..NataliaSolo traveler

The main building and lodges are situated around a lake with views onto the reserve/ jungle. lodges are spacious and well maintained. The best bit about the resort is the staff, so helpful, attentive and knowledgeable - they went out of theirs way to make my stay amazing.
