Nearby, mainly a visit to fish river canyon is worthwhile. (Second largest canyon in the world - definitely worth a visit). The main canyon viewpoints are a short half-hour drive from the lodge.

The lodge exudes (in a positive sense) the rustic charm of a colonial desert camp - with a pool. We have rarely met a more attentive, friendly and helpful manager than Charles - he alone adds a lot to the experience.A.Family with young children
