I’d love to come back to this sanctuary. The kingsize bed is very big and comfortable. The shower is great, internet was good. Beautiful and calm atmosphere with a swimming pool. We’ve enjoyed the conversations with the owners and appreciate their local and tasteful breakfasts! Only 40 minutes away from Chichén Itzá.

The lodge offers a barbecue. The cabins were amazing and really comfortable! They are spacious, clean, and well equipped. The bed is comfy and the net does protect you from any mosquitoes which might have gotten into the room, although I didn’t see any inside (there were many outside, but repellent kept them at bay). The staff was friendly and ready to help, and they lent us beach chairs and an umbrella to use at the beach. The pool was slightly cold, but still quite pleasant and clean! The Wi-Fi works perfectly well for working remotely, and there are sufficient power outlets inside and outside the cabins. On the TV there is Netflix and other streaming platforms. There is also a temazcal (traditional sauna) which works on scheduled days and can seat large groups. There is no kitchen inside the cabins, but there is a fridge to keep food fresh, and there is a shared kitchenette with an electric stove, near the site’s entrance, and the staff can lend you a pan to cook a quick meal. Hot coffee is prepared and served for free twice a day. There is sufficient, safe, and convenient parking space for all guests, and the staff lends you a little trolley so your luggage can be carried around easily to your cabin without getting soiled with sand. I would definitely recommend it to any traveller, and I will surely come back with my family one day! The property has one pet-friendly cabin only, so if you are coming with your pet it’s worth booking and letting them know in advance.

The Lodge at Uxmal is located within Uxmal Archaeological Park, just a few steps from the pyramids and temples. Surrounded by tropical vegetation and gardens, it offers charming bungalows with mahogany interiors, ethnic ceramics and wood carvings. Amazing location next to the ruins of Uxmal and the room and pool is beautiful.

With Merida Bus Station reachable in 35 km, Cenote San Ignacio offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Excellent hotel to stay at for a special occasion. Grounds were beautiful. Tour was awesome.
