We stayed one night before we moved forward and we rested very well. The owner is very nice and the place is close to the mountain which makes it perfect for the ones who want to ride Transfăgărășan and enjoy the area. The facility is the well equipped and very clean.

Everything, from the location, facilities, staff, place was very clean, they have an amazing view from the rooms and also a hammac on the terrace snd some of the rooms, kitchen well equiped, fireplace just ready to set the fire, fresh tulips and ciocolate on the table. ❤️ definitely will return during summer.🫶

My room was tastefully decorated, exuding warmth and comfort. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the plush bedding to the modern amenities provided. Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the mountain was a surreal experience that will stay with me forever. The staff at Hotel Cabana Fantanele were gracious and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. Their hospitality added an extra layer of charm to my stay, making me feel welcomed and valued throughout.

Perfect location! Wonderful views. Right in the middle of the two restaurants in Pestera (one SUPER vegan friendly, also a massage/yoga/spa place so expensive, and the other with an extensive traditional Romanian cuisine menu with huge portions.. and very affordable !) Our host was sweet and kind and made my husband and I an amazing breakfast catered to our dietary requirements and hunger levels. Impeccable facilities and cleanliness. We wish we stayed more than one night!!
