The staff at reception were lovely and offered a great first impression for my first time in Coober Pedy. Location was also great and within walking distance of most of the town.

I could have googled in advance to see how an underground accommodation actually looks like but wanted to get surprised - and it worked! I was fascinated by the design, the big and comfortable bed, the shower, just about everything. Despite the walls I didn't even think about being literally inside a mound. The owners, even though we met just briefly, were super friendly and you can tell they enjoy living and working in Coober Pedy, despite the flies ;-)NinoSolo traveler
