Lovely quaint motel. Room was twin singles very comfortable and warm. Room had a fridge and full tea service. All very nice. The water pressure and warmth of the water was very good. Perfect for a quick nights rest before on the road

Always my go to when I stay in Forbes. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Bed is comfortable, pillows is great. Water pressure excellent! Always clean and an easy walk to anywhere you need to go. Pool if you need a quick dip after a hot day out and about. I've stayed solo and with family. Recommend to all colleagues needing a stay when in Forbes.

    It did serve its purpose of a stopover motel. It was close to a pub and a place to eat. Also close to MacDonalds for breakfast. Heaps of information on the town and what it offered. I could see the new management was trying to update the rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom extras (I.e. shampoo, soap, etc) were lovely.

    The room was somewhat basic but quite adequate, the bed was comfortable. The motel is quieter than most in Forbes, in terms of traffic noise, but there was the usual noise from other rooms. Location is convenient to the town centre.

    The staff are lovely and very willing to help you. The motel rooms have been updated which makes them feel fresh. The rooms are well appointed. The motel is very handy to the town centre and beautiful lake walks. The Plainsman will always be the place I will choose in Forbes.
