Perfect location, 5 min cab ride from the ferry. If you rent rent a car from Budget they will pick you up from the motel. Clean comfortable accommodations, very nice and helpful staff. Highly recommend for vary travelers who want to get good nigh sleep before they move on to explore Vancouver island.

The renovations were very nice, a lot of thought went into little extras that lost hotels don’t have, little extra touches. The pillows were amazing, and they had lots - whic is rare in hotels, the beds were clean and comfortable , I got a great sleep - which I never usually do!! There was a portable air conditioner in the bedroom and two fans in the main area that kept it cool. Semi private little decks outside with a chair and little box of flowers, a little elegant metal vanity in the bathroom with soaps and shampoos set on with a facecloth fanned out behind them, extra large towels on the clothes rack outside the bathroom (what hotel ever provides extra towels) it had a huge shower head so the shower was fantastic! This was way nicer than many 5 star hotels. So clean and refreshing. We were on foot, and it is located in walking distance to restaurants and amenities. Overall 5 star rating from me, I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back!!!
