The first 3 weeks were perfect , the hotel staff amazing. But somehow I misunderstood the checkout date and was late by an hour and a half checking out and things got ugly fast . I felt terrible as they had guests coming in as well. Someone on the staff team said some mean things and my checkout price was higher than I was quoted or had paid all the prior days … Much higher. I was to receive a 20% off for my stays as I am local and in between houses. They didn’t apply that to my Che out fees at all . I guess because I was late checking out .

Everything the room was actually very clean and spacious so was the shower it was also VERY quiet which was amazing all around amazing this will be the motel I stay at every time I go to pismo or morro bay it's Wirth the extra drive

The family staff who operate The American Inn are kind, hospitable and overall very good people. The room was clean and offered all the basic comforts you would need on.a stay. I would highly recommend it.
