It is a great alternative to the run of the mill hotels, quirky scenario but works well. Rail carriage was Comfortable AC didn’t work properly on our arrival as soon as we reported it the maintenance guy came over in less than 5 minutes and fixed it. Owner was very warm and approachable

It was far better than the rating of 7.1 with clean rooms, good beds and linens and upgraded towels. They were not cheap in just leaving two towels in a room for 2, but 4, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was the usual, but actually for the cost of the motel, was quite good.

The motel is about an hour drive from the entrance to the Grand Canyon park, and about half an hour from the city of Flagstaff - which is very convenient for shopping, if needed. The motel itself is very similar to many other motels, and not exceptionally special: Clean motel, spacious room, free parking, etc.
