Offering direct access to a small beach area, the waterfront Lighthouse Motel and Cottages is located in Conquerall Bank, on the LaHave River. It features free Wi-Fi and tastefully furnished rooms. Everything. Staff was exceptional. Rooms are adorbs; not your mainstream decor. Loved the wood floors and wood tray ceiling. The kitchen was well provisioned. Trish was forthcoming with extra activities. She shared info for a FREE ferry that crossed the LaHave River in the way to Lunnenberg-the scenic route, for sure. That was very cool. This is just one example of how they go out of the way to please. She also gave us a heads up on a pontoon boat ride on the LaHave River, leaving from the hotel. We could not make the appointed time. 😔. No problem, Captain Jim gave us our own private boat ride. He was very knowledgeable about the river and the people. It was the highlight of our stay. Beds were very comfy. Trish went the extra mile to make sure our stay was extra special. I would book a stay here again and again and again. 🫶

Offering a barbecue and views of the sea, Knotty Pine Cottages, Suites & Motel Rooms is set in Ingonish Beach in the Nova Scotia Region. Great location for the Cabot Trail, with lovely views from a private balcony. Room was very comfy. Lovely welcome from the manager.

Surrounded by the natural beauty of Cape Breton's Highlands National Park, Cornerstone Motel is located in Chéticamp. Free WiFi access is available. Everything. Friendly owners, tastefully renovated and decorated rooms, and lots of little touches to make one’s stay as comfortable as possible. Despite being located right on the Cabot Trail, it was also very quiet and peaceful. Best motel of our trip so far.

Hebridean Motel is located in Port Hood. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are offered. Each room here will provide you with a TV and air conditioning. Check in and out was easy. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Coffee machine in room was a welcome touch.
