Breakfast was great with selections of cold and hot food. There’s a water refilling station, various teas and a coffee machine offering a selection coffees in the lobby. Staff were helpful and friendly. Ample free parking too. We’ll stay here again for sure!

Guestrooms are air conditioned and decorated with local art and local handmade furniture. Rooms are soundproofed and offer a microwave and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A private bathroom is also included. Everything. It was super clean. Elizabeth and her son were fantastic hosts - helpful, accommodating and friendly. The patio area was a gem for evening sunset viewing and morning coffee. They were super helpful with the use of their bbq too. Overall it’s top notch, conveniently located near the highway, but far enough back away from it. The town of Manitowaning is really peaceful, and the beach is a 2min drive from the motel. It is a short drive to Sheguiandah and Little Current as well as South Baymouth (ferry terminal). As a former resident of Little Current, returning home for a visit, I discovered Manitowaning from a new perspective and found it to be an amazing little place to stay. Can’t say enough about the Wayside and the owners.
