Situated in Yangyang, within 500 metres of Naksan Beach and 2.1 km of Seorak Beach, Naksanstay features accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. As soon as I walked into the room I felt so comfortable and at home. The room looked adorable, it was spotlessly clean, and had everything you would need for a longer stay. Sadly I was only there one night, but I would return without hesitation if I’m ever in the area again. The location is perfect, so close to the beach, temple, a bus stop and convenience stores.

Location, comfort, room size, breakfast, coffee, amazingly friendly owner. Really great value and very very comfortable accommodation with surprisingly great size room. Did not use kitchen, not other amenities like gym, laundry etc but available. About 30 mins from seoraksan NP. Would recommend ana stay again

Located within 7.2 km of Seorak Waterpia and 8.9 km of Daepo Port, The Red House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Sokcho. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, he explained me the different hiking path and options nearby. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. The location is also very good, close to the entrance of the national park. Some people write that the house is old. It looks and feel like many houses e.g. in Austria with lots of wood. Yes, the red house is old, but it is very clean, well maintained and everything worked very well. So no worries. A hint for European/SouthAmerican/African alpine hikers: the popular hiking paths which you find in the national park map are extremely well build by alpine standards (T1/T2) and the altitude is quite low, so generally a very relaxing hike. There are some sleep passages though, but they are build as stairs. If you are used to longer alpine T4/T5/+ hikes, you can pack two or all three of the popular hikes into one day.

The hotel is right in front of the sea. The rooms are big, clean and furnished with everything you may need. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would return here.

We had a great time for 2 nights, everything was clean and lovely. We got a lot of help to book an overnight stay at a shelter :) exceeded our expectations!
