As soon as I walked into the room I felt so comfortable and at home. The room looked adorable, it was spotlessly clean, and had everything you would need for a longer stay. Sadly I was only there one night, but I would return without hesitation if I’m ever in the area again. The location is perfect, so close to the beach, temple, a bus stop and convenience stores.

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, he explained me the different hiking path and options nearby. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. The location is also very good, close to the entrance of the national park. Some people write that the house is old. It looks and feel like many houses e.g. in Austria with lots of wood. Yes, the red house is old, but it is very clean, well maintained and everything worked very well. So no worries. A hint for European/SouthAmerican/African alpine hikers: the popular hiking paths which you find in the national park map are extremely well build by alpine standards (T1/T2) and the altitude is quite low, so generally a very relaxing hike. There are some sleep passages though, but they are build as stairs. If you are used to longer alpine T4/T5/+ hikes, you can pack two or all three of the popular hikes into one day.
