Although a few miles away from Bar Harbor, we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and level of comfort at this out of town motel. Room prices in Bar Harbor, for even basic accommodation, can get ludicrously expensive, but Gallagher's Travels pricing offered way more value than most in town.

This Motel was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds! We enjoyed the spacious deluxe king room with two sink areas. They had a great text system for ordering breakfast the night before. Breakfast was handmade, packed with care and arrived at our door right on time in the morning! We liked the breakfast sandwiches and blueberry scones. The breakfast could be eaten in your room, on the quiet porch or on the go if visiting Acadia National Park! Staff was great and very accommodating!!

The location is excellent. The room was clean and updated, except for the linoleum floor in the bathroom. The bathroom was small but clean. The beds were hard, and we preferred queen-size to full-size beds, which the motel does not have. Coffee was good in the lobby, and they provided blueberry muffins, which were fine. There was no microwave or coffee maker in rooms, but they did have a small refrigerator, which was perfect, and a smart TV—only one chair and lamp. Everyone was very friendly, and the staff was helpful.

Very functional and clean room although dated. Bed was comfortable, and everything in the room worked. The breakfast was great for a motel. Despite it being close to the main road, the room was set back enough, so it was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Great value for the money!

I loved the location. Free parking right in the heart of the town. And if you come earlier than check in; they still let u park there and walk around. So now if u come early ur set up! I was worried because motels got a reputation for being seedy but this one was awesome, it felt like a modern hotel. The staff were nice, and I like how you can text the front desk for any issues. It was very clean and the beds were comfy.
