We especially loved the restaurant and the extra such as yoga classes, movie nights, and sauna/pool. You can take a €15-20 10-minute taxi from the Bad Gastein train station or walk along a beautiful walking path for about 30 minutes. So many things to do around the hotel in every season!

The owners and staff were exceptionally kind, the cleanliness of the room exceeded all expectations, and the amenities, not limited to Sauna and Honesty Bar, were wonderful. The hotel was warm, friendly, and incredibly well decorated. This was a comfortable place to spend a holiday.

We stayed at house Nefer for two nights during the off season (october) and enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts Andreas and Edda welcomed us with open arms and treated us like friends rather than guests. Andreas took time to explain activities and locations for us and even checked for open restaurants and possible routes for walking or other possible activities. Andreas and Edda spent an evening with us in the wine cellar explaining and drinking different wines with us and having a good conversation with us about the history of the House which belonged to the german actor Georg Thomalla and his wife before they bought it. The location of this house is perfect and only a few minutes from the city center. We arrived by train and walking there from the train station only takes about 10-15 minutes depending on the route. The house has a beautiful interior with interesting designer furniture and accessories everywhere you look. Our double room was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen and dining area, which can be used by guests is very spacious and has everything you need, including a fridge for guests. The breakfast prepared by Edda had everything you can wish for and was prepared for exactly the time we wanted to get up. The whirlpool which we could use even late at night was clean and a lovely experience. Andreas and Edda provide a very welcoming atmosphere and we wish them the very best for their future.

This was one of the coolest hotel experiences. Everything was just perfect and exceeded our expectations: the kids' facilities are amazing - so many options. The choice of food was excellent and very creative and tasty; the little details such as an option to make your own fresh juice from tons of ingredients, or the sushi buffet, ramen buffet, etc. The pool area is very nice, with a warm pool - and it was completely empty in the evenings. The rooms were perfect and so was cleanliness. Everything is thoughtful for children in the first place - we are definitely coming back to visit Tante Frida.
