We were on a European tour traveling on a motorcycle and it was very hot when we arrived. We were greeted with an ice refreshing lemon drink on checking in. The owner said to put my Motorcycle in their garage. The room was absolutely amazing. My wife loved the room which was pristine, A nice balcony that we sat on in the evening enjoying drinks from the mini bar. Would definitely stop again. Breakfast was beyond belief. The presentation and quality was amazing. If you are ever in the area definitely stop here

The hotel is located exactly at the main square and a lot of parking options were available on the street, which is really practical if you are arriving at Saturday evening.

We love everything about this hotel! The room is just amazing, it's spacious, clean, comfortable and well designed. The shower room is big and the water pressure is really good. The huge bathtub is a big plus too. There's a well equip kitchen in the hotel and guests are welcome to cook there. We are from Asia and loves instant noodle so much, and after 3 weeks in Europe and not eating it once, it comes to our surprise that there's instant noodle in the kitchen and we were so happy to see it, thumbs up for this! This place and the whole town is just too amazing and we will definitely come back here again!

The Hotel Restaurant Staussen is a hidden gem. Exceptional value for money. We stayed for one night and also reserved a table for our evening meal in the restaurant too. Our room was immaculately clean and so comfortable. We enjoyed our meal in the very busy and popular restaurant. I’d recommend reserving your table. Breakfast was a buffet - help yourself to breads, cheeses, ham, delicious yoghurts, fruit, eggs, juices, tea, coffee. perfect to start our day. Plus points for us was tesla charger included in cost, we are a family of vegetarians and vegans and we're well catered for. Ate in restaurant for 3 meals, all excellent with great service. We opted for a balcony room for one of us which was amazing with views of neuschwanstein Castle and the lake and mountains. 2 other rooms were without the view but were large and comfortable.

good size room and very pleasant staff. When I arrived it was raining and I was soaked, I was walking the king Ludwig Way. The Mountain View I was supposed to get from my room was poor, rain clouds everywhere. Next morning however, the clouds had gone and the view was to die for. definitely a hotel I would stay at again.

The rooms are nice and cozy, with that old charm. Everything was clean, comfortable, and had a homey feel that made it even more relaxing. There are no toilets/showers in the rooms, but the shared facilities are close, warm, and private when you are in them. There's no risk of someone walking in while you shower for example. Food was also excellent, I would even advise that the portions are very generous! The salad was amazing, and over delivered on quantity and taste. Really was the icing on the cake so to say.

The hotel was easy to find and we drove directly into the garage which is located under the hotel so from there the elevator leads you directly to the reception. Check-in is automated but there is a polite receptionist who welcomed and guide you. The room we got has almost a panoramic view and since it was quite high we got a quite nice view. We were pleasantly surprised by the interior which feels spacious. The room and bathroom looks and more important; feels clean too. Other important detail is the cushion which is both comfy to rest your back for reading and your head for sleeping.
