Located in the Maising district of Pöcking, Gasthaus Georg Ludwig Maising offers a garden, terrace and on-site restaurant. The restaurant is closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Coming from NZ this is exactly how we imagined a small village guesthouse might be. It was wonderful and we loved the surroundings and the rooms. Very modern bathrooms and spotlessly clean. The attached restaurant was great and we enjoyed sitting outside drinking beer and wine. Perfect!

Newly built in 2018, the Starnbergsee Hideaway is located on the shores of Lake Starnberg in Bavaria. The famous Osterseen nature reserve can easily be reached on foot or by bike from the property. Gorgeous hotel, perfect location. The river view suite was absolutely perfect. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks English. The breakfast was amazing and all the food was delicious. The Hotel is lovely.

The elegant Landgasthof Aufkirchen offers comfortable rooms, a library, and a room with a fireplace in the town of Berg. The Munich conference grounds can be reached with a 45-minute drive. This 4-star hotel on the eastern edge of Bernried on Lake Starnberg is set in a 5-hectare parkland area, just a 40-minute drive from Munich. Everything went well. The hotel is beautifully located with the view of the lake. Breakfast was excellent and one evening meal too. T The rooms are spacious and well furnished, the beds very comfortable. The park is nice too, and the proximity of the splendid Buchheim Museum is perfect! We will definitely come again.

Situated on the shore of the Starnberger See lake, a few steps from the steam boat jetty and S-Bahn station, this newly renovated hotel offers free WiFi and direct connections to Munich. Service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was attractive and clean, and the attached restaurant was very good value.

Located directly beside Lake Starnberger See, this traditional-style hotel in Seeshaupt offers free WiFi in the entire hotel. The small pool area contains a steam room, sauna and a tepidarium. Stunning location, kindest most helpful staff, great food. Very homely and welcoming.
