In addition to the large comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms, the staff is wonderful. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism, kindness and hospitality provided. One of the staff members even accompanied us to the medical clinic. Breakfast was also a treat. Location is just off the main square. Very easy walk to everything.

My room was just like I expected it and as shown in the picture - really comfortable, clean, and spacious. Carlos and Esther are super kind and helpful in every way plus Esther prepares delicious breakfast. Felt like my home on Galapagos and will definitely stay there again if I come to Santa Cruz again

Absolutely perfect boutique hotel. Recently renovated impeccable and spacious rooms. A cosy courtyard with a pool and little spaces to relax. The location is excellent few minutes walk to the pier of Puerto Ayora for all excursions, the closest to the walk to Tortuga bay and a lovely restaurant next door. Byron the manager was attentive to every request and accommodated all our requirements including a generous early check in and helped with all sorts of recommendations. A complimentary pick up is included and was perfectly organized. Really could not ask for a better place.

Located on the Galapagos Islands, Galapagos Bed & Breakfast house is in Puerto Ayora. It is a 5-minute walk from the waterfront and offers rooms with a private balcony and hammock. What a great place to stay! The owner Josy was lovely, kept communication with us before and during the stay. Breakfast was great every morning and she cleaned our room while we were gone during the day. There is drinking water available too. Josy arranged us a taxi to and from the airport and gave local recommendations. Location is right in town, walking distance to everything. Rooms are cute, clean, spacious with amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

Set in Puerto Ayora, Torre Mar Galapagos features free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. John, the owner, has pride of ownership, and it really shows. Lots of lovely touches in the rooms, and John was always available to give advice on what to do.

Featuring an on-site snack bar and free organic coffe, Hotel Cucuve offers accommodation in Puerto Ayora. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. We had an excellent breakfast pack from them on our early morning excursion. Well presented and packed for us to eat as we got hungry on the boat trip. All were wrapped in eco-friendly packaging. 10/10 We were super happy with how they explained their commitment to being responsible towards nature and what they do to be actively involved. The info in the rooms was presented subtly, although not overwhelmingly. The free shopping bags and water bottles were a nice touch.

Semilla Verde Boutique Hotel gives its guests the real traditional guesthouse experience on Santa Cruz Island. It is located only a 12-minute drive from Puerto Ayora. If, at the end of your holiday in the Galapagos, you want one or two days of relaxation before flying out from Santa Cruz/Baltra Island, I would heartedly recommend this wonderful hotel up in the highlands of the island. Not only does it have giant tortoises ambling through its extensive gardens and grounds, but it is also a relaxing quiet place to stay, enjoy an alternative ecological environment and prepare for the next leg of your trip into Ecuador or return home. Katia, the hotel manager, was an excellent hostess, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner and breakfast here and enjoyed both immensely. As the hotel sits within a coffee plantation, the coffee is very 'local'. The small swimming pool was pleasant on a very hot afternoon.

Okay, so, I didn't actually end up staying in a room here—I had booked it in case I wasn't able to get to a different island that day, but I was able to get to the other island, so I was a no-show. But my interaction with the hotel staff and owner (I think) several days later when I stopped by to pay for my uncancelled room were so pleasant that I want to give them a rating. I had just arrived in town with my heavy bag, and one of the staff members graciously let me stow the bag in their locked office while I trekked to Tortuga Bay—Hotel Crossman is close to the entrance to the trail as well as the pier. I was hot and dehydrated when I returned, and the owner let me sit and drink my Gatorade in the hotel's lovely shaded common area and then gave me a ride all the way across town for only $1! So much hospitality and I wasn't even technically a guest. I hope I get the chance to stay at Hotel Crossman in the future.
