Looking at Google Street View 2020, I see this hotel has been renovated in the last 2 years. The work was completed to a very high standard, with large airy rooms, good furniture, gleaming surfaces. The hotel keeps historic furniture used by King Farouk I in a stately room and has a large library for guests, as well as a fitness room. The scale is grand and lavish. The restaurant serves excellent breakfasts, with Egyptian specialities like foul and Egyptian cheese, French pastries etc. The all-day dining menu is varied, it was tough to choose! I only stayed 4 nights so was particularly happy to get excellent help and guidance for sightseeing from Reception staff. The staff arranged for me to meet a local guide, which enabled me to make the most of this - too short - visit, see what I was most interested in and not have to plan and research my routes at length. As a solo female traveller, sadly not speaking Arabic, I felt most unsure about orientation, getting lost and all the signage not understandable to me. What was helpful was that the hotel is located in the very centre of the city and there is no risk of losing one's way on the large busy streets and Corniche. For more niche locations I would recommend using a local guide, it unlocks the city. Overall I would stay there again. I had a great break thanks foremost to the professional and gracious staff at this hotel.

Weniger als 2,5 km von Bahnhof Sidi Gaber und 4 km von Alexandria Zoo entfernt in Alexandria gelegen, bietet die Unterkunft Miramar Boutique Hotel Zimmer in Alexandria. The room was very cute, and the fact that each room of the hotel had a theme was amazing. Even though the size of the room is small as informed, it was very well organised and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We got breakfast in bed, which was for very reasonable price and was quite good. The location is close to the main road. Our room was facing a building under construction, but that was not a problem for us as we had the intention of visiting the city instead. There was no noise or any other inconveniences. I totally recommend it. PS: Finding a clean hotel in Cairo and Alexandria was a struggle, but we were lucky with this one.

Das Light Dinner ist ausgezeichnet! Frühstück ebenfalls, der Ausblick vom Restaurant und der Dachterasse ist hervorragend und weitläufig über das Mittelmeer/ den Hafen, mit Blick auf die berühmte Zitadelle und Konische, dabei läuft schöne Musik. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Alles spannende ist fußläufig zu erreichen: Zitadelle, Alexandrias Bibliothek, das Odeon, Serapeum, Patisserien und coole Restaurants. Gutes WLAN und leckerer Limonendrink in der Lobby.

They also have a free shuttle bus service to selected destinations.
