OKU Ibiza features a restaurant, fitness centre, a bar and garden in San Antonio. Featuring a terrace, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Quite simply, everything was perfect from start to finish. When you stay at OKU you really feel the attention to detail: Staff - the staff were ever-present, ALWAYS smiling and friendly, happy to have a chat and incredibly attentive. On this note I have to give a huge shout out to Claudia on the guest experience desk. She quite literally arranged EVERYTHING for us - boat trips, transfers, restaurants, you name it. Despite my many emails, she always replied quickly and kept me in the loop every step of the way. On this note, if you are planning a trip, book everything in advance, as it's nearly impossible to get a table at certain restaurants on the day. The hotel and pool - the hotel is split into two sides, the family side and the adult side. Everything, rooms included - was impeccably clean. The split was perfect - if you wanted some quiet time, the family pool was great. If you wanted a bit more atmosphere, the adult pool was ideal. The energy was built throughout the day perfectly - at the adult pool, there was nice chillout music until midday (I loved being at the pool early, when it was quiet). From 12pm the music energy picked-up slightly, and from 2pm the DJ started. I was worried that it would be too chaotic by the pool, but they got the balance just right - the DJ set had a perfect vibe - it wasn't out and out day club partying, but enough to make people have a good time, without being too much in your face. No issues ever getting sun-loungers or beds. If you do book this hotel, I'd recommend clearing at least one full day to hang out by the pool. We did this on the 3rd day, spending the entire day by the pool, and had a great time. Like all staff, the team by the poolside were ever attentive (without being too aggressive), giving you space but always on hand to bring over food, drinks etc. The breakfast was superb, as was the restaurant. The hotel is right infront of one of the most beautiful beach full of fishes and the view from the balcony is amazing. Room was large and comfortable. The cleaning was done everyday perfectly. The restaurant of the hotel is very nice as well, we had a delicious dinner. Breakfast is nice at the terrace with see view and the stuff is very friendly. Portinaxt is the more quite town of Ibiza with amazing beaches. I would definitely like to come back!
